Greek Gods

Purpose:

  • To focus on one Greek god or goddess and learn about ancient Greek culture.

Process:

  1. Take these TWO quizzes.
  2. Take screen shots of both results' pages for both quizzes.
  3. Choose one of the god/goddesses that was your answer for the quiz
  4. Create a presentation about that god or goddess.
  • Should last about 5 minutes talking us through the presentation
  • Include BOTH screen shots in the powerpoint
  • Name of God/goddess (and Roman name)
  • # of google hits for your god/goddess’s name
  • Area of influence
  • Disposition/character
  • How born?
  • Parents / lineage
  • Patron of what Cities in ancient Greece
  • Symbols
  • One ancient myth that includes the god/goddess
  • Top google item that is within your god/goddess’s name but that is NOT about your god or goddess
  • Difference between the Greek and Roman versions
  • Include throughout the presentation three different ancient images of that god/goddess
  • Include throughout the presentation three other modern images of that god/goddess
